Don’t have an endless supply of money to drop on a tool organization system? If not, check out our review of the Husky 14 in. Rolling Tool Tote with Bonus 12 in. Bag. (14Combo12)

There are a lot of different options on the market for tool organizers and cases, the problem is, they usually cost a lot of money. That is where the Husky 14” rolling tote shines. Not only is it a very well built tool transporting tote, but it’s also set at a great price.

The Tote is actually impressive for what you get. Not only do you get the 14” bag, but you will also get a 12” bag that will stack on top of the 14”. It’s basically like a soft version of the Milwaukee Packout system, but it’s made of water resistant cloth instead of hard plastic.

The 14” tote has a heavy-duty telescoping handle, along with 2 wheels which help with mobility. It’s basically like a piece of luggage that you see at the airport, but for tools. The 14” tote has a large main compartment that that allows you to put tools in, or take tools out easily. It also comes with 13 storage pockets that really allows for a lot of storage options.

The tote itself will hold up to 80 lbs. and is made from 600-denier water-resistant material. It also feels extremely durable, and constructed well.  Basically the 12” tool bag is made in the same durable
way and also features a belt that will secure itself to the handle of the rolling tool tote for added storage, easy access and grab and go mobility.

As for the wheels, they are hard plastic but have a nice tread on them, so no real issues not being able to get this where you need it. I also really like how easy it is to stack these bags. The 12” has a strap that goes over the handle. Just slide the bag down on top of the 14”, and now you have a rolling mobile unit. The zippers are also nice a large, so it makes opening and closing these bags really easy.

So here is the deal, if you are looking for something that will stay out in the rain all day without getting your tools wet, then you may want to look at a hard case system. If you looking for something that is built well, and will get your items to the job and keep them organized, I think this is a great tote system.
