Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ 3 Gal Project Wet/Dry Vacuum (P3240)

18-Volt ONE+ 3 Gal Project Wet/Dry Vacuum (P3240)
I hate cleaning out my car. Not because I am lazy (not really), but because it’s such a pain. I’m always dragging around my large shop-vac behind me, getting the cord tangled or something, and even scratching up my doors because the vac is just too bulky. With that being said, Ryobi just solved my problem with their new 18-Volt ONE + 3 gallon wet/dry vacuum.

When I first took the P3240 vacuum out of the box, it sort of reminded me of a job site radio. It is small, rectangle and very compact. The weight of the little green monster was only 15lbs, and barely noticeable when I had it in my hands.

I started tinkering with all the different buttons, knobs and attachments that this vacuum comes with, and I found that it has much more to offer than I thought it did.

So the first thing that I noticed is that is comes with two different attachments that can be changed out easily (crevice tool, utility nozzle). There is also a 6 ft. x 1-1/4 in. extendable hose that can be neatly stored on the vacuum when not in use.

What you may not know is that one of the attachments (utility nozzle) is also used to turn this sucking machine into a blower simply by attaching the nozzle to the
air vent that pushes the air out. After you are done, just remove the nozzle from the vent area, and place it in the attachment holder. Because of this awesome engineering, you know have two machine put into one.

Another great feature about this vacuum is that it can be used as a wet or dry vac. All you need to do is remove the (included) filter that comes with the vac, and you’re ready to go. Once you done sucking up you wet materials, just place the filter back in and done.

As for the power of this vac, I’d be lying if I said it had as much power as an electric one, but it comes real close. We had no issues picking up smaller debris and saw dust in the shop, and as for the car, it cleaned it out perfectly.

The best part about this portable vacuum is that it runs on the Ryobi ONE + system. That means it will accept any ONE+ battery that you have, and all different sizes of them. A 4Ah battery will give you a run time of a few hours easily, and even the smaller batteries will keep this bad boy going for a long time.

The other great thing about the new Ryobi wet/dry vacuum is that you won’t see any dust or debris escaping from the unit. There is a tight seal on the underbelly of the lid that really seals tightly when the unit is turned on and from all the negative pressure. The vac also has two locking levers (one on each side) that helps keep the lid secure. Not to mention, the top and bottom of this vacuum is flat, so stacking/storing will be no issue at all.

Extremely easy to use, cordless, small and powerful. What else can I say about the new 18-Volt ONE+ 3 Gal Project Wet/Dry Vacuum P3240. Check this little green monster out, and you will love it.
