Tool Review Zone Gets Invited to Participate in The Home Depot PROspective Program, and we are ready!

Every year, the Home Depot invites around twenty professional tool review sites to participate in their Prospective tool review program. This year (2018) Tool Review Zone has been asked to participate in this program to help review the latest and greatest tools of the 2018 year.

If you didn't already know, many marketing departments (not just tool companies) have reviewers take a look at some of the new items that they are trying to get on the shelves at many of your favorite stores. Lets face it, reviews drive sales, and if your product gets a lot of 5 star reviews, you will probably sell many more units than your competitors will that don't have reviews.

Many of the products that are sent out by the Home Depot are tools that have never been used or even seen yet by the public. This give the Beta Testers the opportunity to look over these items and let the manufacturer know what could be done better, or if everything works as it should. This will give them the opportunity to fine tune their products for the masses.

Now, just because something is sent our way for review does not mean that it's going to get a high
star review. What's great about this program is that the Home Depot and the participating companies that provide the tools are very hands off. Actually, there is no contact between any of the participating parties involved. This allows the reviews to complete freedom to say what they feel, and score the product appropriately to help the customers make a better buying decision. Listen, the Home Depot does not want to sell junk in their stores, so the really want their reviewers to be unbiased and honest, and that is a good thing for customers.

Now, there will be a lot of power tools to review starting in mid April of 2018. The Home Depot will send up to eleven different tools from many different companies to review. Each quarter, up to eleven new items will arrive just as the last, and will continue for a year (4 quarters). Whats great about this is that subscribers of Tool Review Zone will get to see many different brands such as DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Skil, Ryobi and many others.

Another very cool aspect of being part of this program is that TRZ will get to meet with many of the Home Depot customers and manufactures during up-coming promotional store tool events, and you could even see us featured in some of their promotional advertisements!

This is a huge honor for us to have this opportunity with the Home Depot. The main reason that this is so exciting is that TRZ can bring some of the newest, coolest and innovative tools to you, (our subscribers/friends) before anyone else can.

Stay tuned for more updates on the partnership, and look for some awesome reviews around mid April!
