Here are some of the best tools from The Home Depot that we got to review during the third quarter of 2019!

Every quarter we get to reviews some of the best and coolest tools from Home Depot. Here is you list of some of the best tools of third quarter 2019.

The RIDGID OCTANE Cordless Jig Saw

This is actually one of our favorite tools of the entire 2019 year. The build quality of this saw is really well done, and the power it has is second to none. I really love how you can set the auto mode just my pressing a button. This allows you to run the saw constantly without having to pull the trigger the entire time.

As for the power, it will blast through wood and/or metal with no bogging issues. It will also run on the OCTANE smart batteries, or any other RIDGID 18v battery. It is truly a professional grade saw that feels great in the hands.

Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 3/8 in. 3-Speed Impact Wrench

Lets get one thing straight, the is a DIY grade impact wrench, but don't let that fool you when it comes to durability. Though it may not be the fastest not the most powerful on the market, it did  perform well and completed every test we threw at it.

The wrench is also a bit more bulky that the others, but if you are looking for an impact wrench that will do the same jobs at a slower pace and cost you a lot less, definitely check this one out.

The Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Hybrid Soldering Station

This is one of those very cool tools that i was not only happy to see hit the market, but also really very happy with how well it preformed

The soldering station can be powered by any Ryobi 18v battery, or it can be plugged in. It really does not matter how you power it, because both the battery and the cord heat this unit up very quickly. At over 900F, you can solder any thing you need it too.

The only thing I wish I would have found in the box was a few extra tips, but the two they supply you with will at least get you started.

Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Fixed Base Trim Router

This is one of my favorite tools as it's something that I use often, and works way better that expected. If you are just getting into wood working and need a router, definitely do not over look this one.  The Ryobi cordless trim router is built super well, and has many of the same features as it's big brother Ridgid.

It's really a very powerful little using, and is built way better than I would have expected it to be. All of the adjustments are super easy to make, and they do not loosen or go out of whack once you set them.

It's comfortable and ergonomically correct. I will say that this is probably the all around best tool that Ryobi has ever made, and the price is great for everything you get with this router.

18-Volt ONE+ Hybrid LED Spotlight

If you are a hunter, like to camp and hunt or just like to go for walks in the dark, you definitely need to check this light out.

Its duel power so you can plug it into you car/truck for a continuous power supply or you can run it off of a Ryobi 18v battery which makes it 100% portable.

The brightness of this light is unreal for the price of the unit, and the brightness levels are adjustable simply by pulling the trigger a couple times.

The build quality is ok, but definitely not the most durable I have ever felt. That said, it will still hold up to moderate use.

18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless AirStrike 23-Gauge 1-3/8 in. Headless Pin Nailer

When you hear someone ask who makes the best nailers, you may not expect someone to say Ryobi, but believe it or not, they are some of the best out there.

This pin nailer runs with the big dogs when it comes to ease of use and quality. It's super simple to use, and the build quality is really top notch. I have been using this nailer a lot, and not once have I had a jam or any other issue. The nails also set perfectly every single time.

Even the pros will appreciate this pin nailer.

BlueGranite Turbo Carbide Hammer Drill Bits Assortment Pack

There is no secrete about it, I think Bosch makes the best bits hands down. Any time I drill into anything, I grab my Bosch, but now I have a new set to go too.

The blue granite bits are some really awesome bit that will literally go through anything you need them to. They are extremely tough and have lasted my job after job.

If you are looking for so sharp, well made, long lasting professional bits, you just found them here.

100 ft. Self Leveling Cross Line Laser with VisiMax Green Beam

Along with the bits, I truly feel that Bosch makes the best laser level and distance measuring tools out there. That said, they needed to improve a bit when it same to outside use, especially on sunny days.

Though the new green laser levels do still have a way to go when it comes to bright lines during a beautiful day, they are much brighter than the conventional red lasers. I was able to see the line on all different types of building materials, including concrete when the laser was positioned closer that 20'. After 20', the lased did fade and was not easy to see.

If you working indoors, its an amazing tool, but outside, it's still not great.

18-Volt 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum

I have been waiting for a cordless vac like this forever! Many of the cordless vacs on the market are smaller and only made for smaller cleanup tasks, but not this vac.

Though smaller than most of the Ridgid vacs, it still packs the same punch. It takes two 18v batteries, but don't be confused as it's still only an 18v vac. The second battery will automatically kick on once the first battery dies. this extends the run time, and allows you to clean those nasty's up with ease. The best part is, you don;t have any cords to trip over!

60-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless FLEXVOLT Brushless 15 in. String Grass Trimmer

I am a true believer that the home owner outdoor power equipment is all but dying, and the new Dewalt 60V weed eater is just another nail in the coffin.

The power that this string trimmer has to offer is insane. It truly feels as powerful, if not more powerful than most of the 2 cycle units I have used. It's also super light as the motor is located at the bottom of the unit near the head.

It very quiet, and no pull starting at all. This means no worries about changing spark plugs, gas or any other issues you deal with in the spring. Just pull the trigger and go. It is truly an awesome trimmer!

125 MPH 600 CFM FLEXVOLT 60-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Axial Blower

I have a lot of battery powered blowers, and even though I like them, they always just seemed a bit under powered. My biggest issue with the battery blowers come when the wind is blowing towards you. I am never able to Not struggle with the clippings coming back at me, but not anymore.

The Dewalt 60v Blower is insanely powerful and is bordering on that professional level blower. I was absolutely blown away (pun intended) with how well it preformed. Even the largest pile of leafs were no match for this monster.

The only reason I would say that this leafe blower is not made for the pros is the run time. On a full charges 9.0 battery, your looking at around eight minutes on high. If the battery life was a bit better, I would bet anything you would see way more of these on the back of pro landscaping trucks.

All in all, the blower is fantastic, and way more powerful than even its smaller brother 20v blower.

3,200 PSI 2.5 GPM ONE+ 18-Volt Electric Start Gas Pressure Washer

I swear every time I go to the Home Depot I see someone walking out of the store with a Ryobi pressure washer. I figured they were good, but I did not realize how good until I tried one for myself.

The 3,200 PSI is intense and will clean any nasy off of any surface with ease, but that is not was impressed me so much about this pressure washer. What really got my attention was the motor and how easy it was to start. Right out of the box it started on the first attempt, but what is really cool is that you don't even need to pull the string. Just pop in the supplied Ryobi battery and push the button. The washer will jump to life in a second, and runs strong the entire time.

The only issue I had with this entire unit is it does go through some gas rather quickly, but that is because it has a pretty beefy motor. Other than that, this washer is the Cadillac of pressure washers!
