It’s a rarity when a power tool hits the market that both men and women get equally excited about using. DREMEL changed all that with the release of the DREMEL Versa tool. 

The DREMEL VERSA cleaning tool really is a cool innovation that allows one to clean their oven, shower, table tops, grills and even hand tools while still having fun doing it. This little cleaning monster is powered by a four (4) volt lithium Ion battery that takes around 2 hours to get a full charge, but has a really long run time once ready (about an hour) of heavy cleaning time. 

Even though this tool runs on a battery, you never need to remove the battery to charge the unit as it comes with a USB power cord that plugs directly into the tool. Simply plug it into a 12v outlet and watch the blue charging light come on in the back of the unit. Once it is fully charged, the blue light will turn off. 

The Versa also comes with three different types of cleaning pads, and a brush. These pads allow you to clean areas with heavy debris, all the way up to polishing your stainless steel appliances. Each pad is extremely easy to attach as the have Velcro backs that you simply stick to the main attachment that

spins at 1,900 RPM. That being said, there is only one high speed, so you will not be able to adjust from high to low.

Even if you are worries about splashing water around while cleaning, they give you a nice water shield that goes around the wheel which contains all of the water spinning off of the brush. It also acts somewhat like a squeegee on glass and/or other smooth surfaces. 

As for comfort, the unit is very light and fits in one hand. It also has a nice textured surface, and conforms comfortably to the hand. All in all, I was really impressed with the overall build and feel.

At the end of the day, this is a great all around cleaning tool. Indoors or out, I was able to clean many different surfaces quickly easily. The battery lasted a long time after it was fully charges, and the different pads allow you to attack any surface that needs a good scrubbing. I definitely recommend!
